Deactivated Parker-Hale .577 muzzle loading rifle with sling and still retaining its ramrod. A contemporary version of the Enfield Pattern 1858 muzzle loading "mustket-rifle". The P58 was a development on from the Enfield Pattern 1853 rifle-musket (P53). The P53 was used by the British Empire from 1853 to 1867 and the P58 is a heavier barrelled shorter version designed for use by the Royal Navy and sargeants.  The P58 was capable of shooting up to 1250 yards. In excellent condition.  Ideal for the collector or as a classic / antique rifle design wall-hanger. Can be cocked and dry-fired. Supplied with its Birmingham Proof House deactivation certificate.
