Deactivated Lee Enfield SMLE (Short, Magazine, Lee Enfield) MK III with matching numbers, dated 1918, that cocks and dry-fires, and the bolt can be removed. Supplied with kit (see below) including a bayonet. Small chip to the front rear handguard and the 'fingers' have been removed from the front handguard, which was an official ordnance modification to SMLEs in service (see photos). We have replacement reproduction handguards in stock which can be purchased separately but we kept this one fully original. Comes with its Birmingham Proof House deactivation certificate, dated 1996.
