Deactivated Colt Single Action Army (SAA) or Peacemaker as it was also known, with 4  3/4 inch barrel. Not one of the modern Italian pistols made as reproductions. This is a genuine first generation Colt SAA and the serial number dates it to 1902. Chambered for the .41 Long Colt cartridge. The trigger moves, the cylinder indexes and clicks when the hammer is pulled back, and it has clear chambers to take the inert rounds. A great historic revolver in good condition with commensurate wear to the finish for its age. Supplied with its UK / EU deactivation certificate from the Birmingham Proof House.
